Joe Crawford
Joe became interested in treating injuries and learning about the human body after sustaining many different injuries playing football, badminton and squash including dislocating his shoulder and various muscle injuries. Wanting to learn more about the recovery process of injuries, Joe studied Sports Therapy at The University of Chichester, graduating in 2014.
He briefly worked with rugby and football teams, before deciding to broaden his knowledge and understanding of physiology and treatment by working with chiropractors and osteopaths in central London clinics. He enjoyed treating people from all walks of life, from the typical office worker suffering from back pain due to poor posture to professional athletes trying to get back in shape for the next competition.
As well as delivering effective sports massage, Joe creates specific rehabilitation programs to aid recovery from short and long term injuries. He also treats with a vibration therapy gun, which can treat acute and chronic injuries and is a great alternative to massage to those who may not enjoy a massage experience.
Joe continues to stay up to date with current research to do with treatment, exercise and rehabilitation and attend courses and seminars as part of his continued professional development portfolio.
